Tyrers Department Store was founded in 1888 by my Great Grandfather with a loan of just £50 and a box of boots (hard to believe I know) and has been handed down through the generations to my grandfather, my father and now myself.
Even back in the 19th century the name Tyrers became synonymous with quality, reliability and customer service. Today our team is dedicated to maintaining these standards.

Of course we still want you to visit us in store - but today's world is all about choice.
